Frequently asked questions
Why do I pay for the site visit first?+
Our architect travels to your plot to check the size, slope, soil, access and zoning before designing. The visit is KSh 5,000 within Nairobi and its environs, and KSh 10,000–KSh 15,000 outside Nairobi depending on distance.
When do I pay for the drawings?+
You pay a 50% architectural deposit at the site visit and the balance when the drawings are done. The structural deposit follows once the architectural drawings are paid in full, and then we submit to the county for approval.
Are county approval fees included?+
No. County and NCA statutory fees are paid directly to the authorities. Our county approval/submission service covers our time submitting and following up your application.
Is the BOQ included?+
No. A Bill of Quantities (quantity surveying) is quoted separately once the drawings are ready.
What if I don't like the design?+
Revisions are included until you're happy with the layout. We only release the final drawings once you've approved them.
